It is an honor to share my story of how the ministry of 27 Pastors’ wives has saved my heart and sanity from deep despair. I was really there on the edge, until God led me to The Gospel CoalitionYoutube interview –Front Row Seat: Walking with God. There were many things in the interview that gripped me and then compelled me to reach out so I could connect more deeply to this ministry.
27PWG’s website (sacredwanderings.community) was like reading my private journal that I never wrote; adding to my experiences with grace and hope. I am not alone, praise God! I am forever grateful that God has made 27PWG available so that other sisters in Christ no longer need to feel isolated. INTERNATIONAL
I live in a country where the majority religion around me is not Christianity, so there are very few churches and very few pastors’ wives. 27PWG online Gatherings have provided a way to connect with other pastors’ wives in a meaningful community, even though I’m many time zones away.
I reached out to join 27PWG during a time when my husband was severely discouraged from ministry struggles. Some of my 27 Sisters were more experienced and assured me that what my husband and I were dealing with was typical, and they helped renew my hope in the promises of Christ to build his church. It’s been so encouraging to talk to other women who truly understand. It has been both beneficial and really sweet.
27PWG is an honest, safe place where I have been free to share both personal and ministry issues without fear of betraying confidences. I’ve learned and grown a lot from the wisdom of the other women who have been vulnerable, relating their successes, challenges, and struggles. Their advice to me as they speak into my life has been a blessing; I just appreciate this ministry so much!
